Chetan brings over 15 years of rich experience of working on tax, regulatory and finance matters in relation to the private equity/venture capital funds and deals in the Indian context.

Prior to joining Titan Capital, Chetan was associated with WestBridge Capital as Controller in the Finance team for over 4 years. At WestBridge, he worked on various tax and regulatory projects relating to the India AIF and Offshore Fund and also oversaw the finance function in relation to Indian advisory entities. He was associated with Edelweiss Financials in their corporate planning division & alternative assets business for over 4 years prior to WestBridge Capital. As part of Edelweiss alternatives business having Singapore domiciled funds / India AIFs, Chetan handled the fund operations, accounting, investor reporting and tax, regulatory & related structuring aspects.

Prior to Edelweiss, Chetan was associated with KPMG Mumbai in their private equity tax & regulatory practice & PwC Mumbai in the financial services tax & regulatory practice. Over the years, Chetan has worked on several fund set-up in India /outside India / regulatory registration with Indian regulators and has also worked on several deals from their diligence to the funding phase.

Chetan is a Chartered Accountant (India) and is a Commerce graduate from Mumbai University.
