Circle Raises INR 25 Cr to Scale Trusted Pre-Owned Commerce
14 October 2026
Circle, a managed consumer-to-consumer marketplace for pre-owned goods, has raised INR 25 crore in seed funding.

A seed round of INR 25 crore, with continued backing from Titan Capital, which led Circle’s first round, and led by Nexus Venture Partners, will help Chirag Kataruka and Ankit Misra take Circle beyond Bengaluru.
Circle, a managed consumer-to-consumer marketplace for pre-owned goods, has raised INR 25 crore in seed funding led by Nexus Venture Partners. Existing investors Titan Capital and Raveen Sastry, Co-founder of Myntra, participated in the round, alongside Ajith Pai, COO of Delhivery, who joined as an angel investor.
The Gap Circle Was Built For
Buying pre-owned often means navigating uncertainty. Is the product as described? Will the payment go through safely? Who handles pickup and delivery? For sellers, finding a buyer is only one part of getting the transaction done.
Founded by Chirag Kataruka and Ankit Misra, Circle brings these steps together. The platform combines AI-led technology, human verification, secure payments and managed logistics, handling the journey from listing to pickup and payout. It connects buyers and sellers without owning inventory, allowing more of the transaction value to stay with them.
Our ambition is to help 100 million Indians buy and sell with confidence on Circle.
Why We Backed It
Titan Capital led Circle’s first round, and we’re continuing to back the team as it scales. Our conviction centres on the problem Circle is tackling: trust is essential to making pre-owned commerce a habit. Verification, payments and fulfilment all need to work together for someone to feel comfortable buying or selling again.
In about a year, Circle has facilitated approximately INR 25 crore in pre-owned sales, attracted more than one million visitors and generated 100,000 listings from Bengaluru alone. That early adoption gives the team a strong starting point for its next phase.
What’s Next
The fresh capital will support expansion beyond Bengaluru, further investment in AI-powered pricing, discovery and verification, and the growth of Circle’s Trust Hubs and logistics network. The focus is on making each transaction easier while bringing the same experience to more cities.
Congratulations to Chirag, Ankit and the entire Circle team. We’re glad to keep building alongside them.
