Hunar.AI Raises ₹40 Cr to Scale AI for Frontline Workforce Management

A Series A round will help Titan Capital portfolio company Hunar.AI expand its conversational AI platform for hiring, onboarding, training and retaining frontline workers.

Titan Capital backed Hunar.AI early. Now, the company has raised ₹40 crore in Series A funding led by Blume Ventures, with participation from Hyderabad Angels Fund, Together Fund, Seedstars, AVNM Ventures, PhysicsWallah co-founders Prateek Maheshwari and Alakh Pandey, and MediaMint co-founder Aditya Vuchi.

The Gap Hunar.AI Was Built For

Hiring a frontline worker involves more than filling a vacancy. Teams need to reach candidates, check their suitability, schedule interviews and help them get started. Once someone joins, training and regular follow-ups become equally important. Across locations and languages, this work can mean thousands of calls and repeated coordination.

Founded by Krishna Khandelwal and Shantanu Bhattacharyya, Hunar.AI brings these workflows together through conversational AI. Its products, Hunar Voice and Hunar Connect, communicate with candidates and employees over voice, WhatsApp and chat, helping businesses manage the journey from recruitment to retention.

Frontline workforce management is one of the largest yet most underserved opportunities in enterprise AI. Solving it requires more than applying general-purpose models to existing processes. It demands a deep understanding of industry workflows, multilingual capabilities and technology that can reliably execute tasks at scale.

For us, Hunar.AI’s progress highlights the opportunity to build AI around everyday operational needs. Frontline workforce management requires consistent communication, an understanding of industry workflows and the ability to reach people in their preferred language.

The company reports that its AI agents handled more than 1.5 crore conversations in September 2026, with volumes doubling every quarter. Its customers include Swiggy, Delhivery, Flipkart and Tata Croma. That adoption offers an encouraging indication of demand for tools that help enterprises manage workforce interactions at scale.

What’s Next

The fresh capital will support AI infrastructure, product development and go-to-market expansion. Hunar.AI plans to deepen its technology capabilities and reach more businesses managing large, distributed workforces.

The opportunity ahead extends beyond making hiring faster. It is about helping businesses stay connected with frontline workers throughout their employment journey.

Congratulations to Krishna, Shantanu and the entire Hunar.AI team. We’re glad to be part of the journey.
