Titan Capital and 8i Ventures back a doorstep smartphone repair service built after its founder's own repair went wrong.

Instafix Raises INR 7.55 Cr Because Your Phone Repair Shop Botched It Too

Instafix has raised ₹7.55 crore in a pre-seed round co-led by Titan Capital and 8i Ventures, with participation from Anish Shrivastava (SVP, Blinkit) and Bharat Kalia (Co-founder & CEO, Lifelong Online).

A $73 Billion Market With No Repair Option Worth Trusting

India sells 3 crore premium phones every year into a $73 billion consumer electronics market — and still has no smartphone repair service worth recommending. Founded in 2025 by Aniket Kale and Chetan Chauhan, both ex-Blinkit, Instafix fixes that literally: book a repair, a certified technician comes to you, the job is done in 30 minutes in front of you, backed by a 12-month warranty, and priced 50% below OEM service partners.

An Idea Born From a Bad Repair

The idea didn't come from a whiteboard. Aniket's own phone broke, a local repair shop botched the fix, and the warranty was voided in the process — a frustration common enough that he and Chetan decided to build the fix themselves rather than live with it. Since launching in Gurugram, Instafix has grown 100% month-on-month, with a 4.7-star customer rating suggesting the frustration they set out to solve is a widely shared one.

Why We Backed It

Doorstep, certified, warrantied repair is the kind of trust layer a $73 billion category has been missing for years — not because the technology to fix a phone screen is hard, but because building certified technician networks, standardised pricing, and real warranties around that fix is genuinely difficult operational work. Aniket and Chetan's Blinkit background — building fast, reliable operations at scale — is exactly the experience this problem needed.

What's Next

Next up for Instafix: premium Android expansion, deeper Gurugram coverage, and the technology infrastructure needed to sustain sub-30-minute on-site repairs. The long game is bigger than phones — making repair the default choice for every device in the Indian home, from laptops and tablets to wearables. Proud to back Aniket, Chetan, and the Instafix team.
