Peeko Raises INR 67.4 Cr to Own Babycare Commerce

Peeko, the quick commerce babycare platform founded by Chetan Sharma, Vivek Khetan, and Abhijit Gairola, has raised INR 67.4 crore in a Series A round led by Chiratae Ventures, with continued participation from existing investor Stellaris Venture Partners and a group of prominent angel investors.

The Problem Every New Parent Knows

Buying for a baby is high-stakes, high-frequency, and almost impossible to get right from a product listing alone. You can't tell if a onesie will fit, if a toy is safe, or if a stroller will survive your specific stairwell from a photo and a star rating. Peeko's answer was to combine a curated catalogue of 25,000 to 30,000 SKUs - spanning apparel, toys, gear, and consumables - with sub-60-minute delivery and a try-and-buy model that brings the confidence of an offline store to a parent's doorstep.

Why We Backed It

We backed Peeko at seed because the three IIT-alumni founders were solving a problem where trust compounds faster than almost anywhere else in commerce - and the first platform to earn that trust at scale is difficult to dislodge. Eleven months since launch, the model has earned the trust of over one lakh parents, which explains why this Series A follows a $3.2 million seed round from just last year rather than a longer, more cautious runway between raises.

What's Next

Peeko currently covers roughly half of Bengaluru through its dark store network and plans to double that footprint by the end of 2026, alongside expansion into new cities, deeper technology investment, and continued hiring. That's the kind of early proof point that turns a seed thesis into a Series A conviction call, and we're glad to have been there for both.
