xStep Secures Titan Capital Funding for Neurorehabilitation

Titan Capital has invested in xStep, powered by SpineX, a company building non-invasive neurotechnology to help people living with neurological conditions restore movement and function through spinal neuromodulation combined with rehabilitation.

The Problem xStep Is Built Around

For people living with spinal cord injury, stroke, or cerebral palsy, recovery has long meant a choice between invasive procedures and rehabilitation programs with limited, hard-to-sustain results. xStep, founded by Parag Gad and Shruti H., is building a different path — a platform that combines spinal neuromodulation with rehabilitation to help the nervous system relearn movement non-invasively, with the larger vision of making advanced neurorehabilitation accessible well beyond the specialty clinics that currently gatekeep it.

The fresh capital gives xStep more capacity to take spinal neuromodulation from clinical promise to a more accessible rehabilitation platform.

Why We Backed It

Neurotechnology is a category where conviction has to be paired with patience — the science is genuinely hard, and the path from lab result to a therapy someone can access at scale is long. What drew us to Parag and Shruti was that they'd already done the hardest part: building a platform grounded in real clinical validation, aimed at conditions — spinal cord injury, stroke, cerebral palsy — where the current standard of care simply isn't good enough.

What's Next

With this fresh capital, the xStep team plans to strengthen manufacturing, open a centre in Bengaluru, expand clinical studies across multiple countries, and continue developing its neurorehabilitation platform.
